Gregory Prescott

Gregory Prescott is a contemporary artist whose work has been exhibited in notable galleries in Los Angeles, New York, and London.

This self-taught photographer views his camera as a paintbrush and has set himself the mission of diversifying the cultural spectrum of fine art photography, broadening the definition of what is considered beautiful.

Prescott’s Figurative style has him working with live models, directing them and choosing every pose deliberately; working with subjects of different gender, race, sexuality, body, skin and hair types with the aim of harnessing diversity.

His work consists of a vast array of portraits and nudes and draws inspiration from an intrigue for the beauty of the human form when shot artistically, desiring to overcome the taboo associated with nudity and the human form.
